Paderborn's museums, with their varied, visually enriching and stimulating artworks and exhibits, both inspire and challenge the visitor. The museums play an important role in the cultural life of the city- as places of communication, of reflection on history and the past and finally as frameworks for the present and future. In the last two decades, Paderborn's cultural life has flourished considerably, both in terms of quality and quantity.
